NEED ADVICE?

Upstairs at the Gatehouse is committed to providing whatever help and support we can to the wider artistic community, particularly (but by no means exclusively) early-career professionals.

To this end, we’ve started a programme we’re calling Office Hours. Every Wednesday, we’ve set aside some time in which you can book a slot to chat with the Artistic Director(s) of the venue. We certainly don’t have all the answers, but we’re happy to provide impartial, informal advice and support with navigating the industry to the best of our ability.

Whether you’re a writer looking to identify the next steps for your project, an actor seeking audition advice, or an aspiring stage manager with questions about training, feel free to reserve a session and we’ll see how we can help.
