Camden Fringe Festival

Using Upstairs at the Gatehouse at the Camden Fringe Festival 2018

Originally a Victorian Music Hall, which opened in 1895, Upstairs at the Gatehouse is a 122 seat fringe theatre in Highgate Village at the northern end of the borough of Camden. It is owned and operated by Ovation Theatres Ltd who started producing shows here in 1997

Our artistic policy is to encourage new and young producers and directors. The Gatehouse’s core audience who live in the Highgate area are very happy to support the venue. So ……we are looking for all forms of theatre…..musicals, drama but not sketch shows or stand-up comedy.  Although one act (sixty minute) shows are ideal for the festival we will also consider two act productions.

Along with producers and directors we also want to encourage new and young, musical directors, choreographers, set, costume &  lighting designers, stage managers, technicians etc.

As well as good reviews and memories of a stunning production we want theatre companies to go away with some box office revenue. Bring your show to The Gatehouse during the Camden Fringe Festival.  We will be happy to look at all proposals.
